Why You Shouldn’t Treat Your Clients Like Muppets

bankruptcy clients are not muppetsWhen Greg Smith published his scathing letter about Goldman Sachs some months ago, he said that the firm treated clients like muppets.  Are you treating your clients the same way?

First off, we need to discuss the notion of a muppet.  It’s apparently slang for “idiot,” someone who is taken advantage of because they’re an idiot.

As a bankruptcy lawyer, I’ve spent over 16 years going through my client education processes to simplify things.  Doing so makes it easier for people to work with me, and to get the help they need.  It’s not only good marketing, but makes for a more efficient process for all.
