You need to try it. As you know, I recorded a podcast for MicroMash (self promotion here: go download it at www.micromash.net and click on bar reviews and then free podcast offer). The software can be downloaded for free to record it. Then you just need a good microphone (I traded in my $200 microphone for a $80 one from Circuit City) and some patience. It takes a little getting used to talking to yourself. My first one took 4 efforts before I got it right, but its worth it.
