I have one better. Apple should license the Palm OS and than come out with a tablet notebook computer. Now that would be cool.

‘Apple Should License the Palm OS’ is this week’s editorial over at 1src, written by Ed Hardy. It makes for a great read, and being the Palm and Mac fan that I am this would be a marriage made in heaven. Hey, stranger things have happened, Palm did license Windows Mobile, and Apple moved to Intel chips, so it’s not too far fetched. It is known that Steve Jobs wanted to buy Handspring, but got rejected by former Apple employee Donna Dubinsky (then Co-founder of Handspring), so we know that Steve Jobs has considered this. Like I said stranger things have happened.

Who needs the PalmOS when Apple has the NewtonOS? Paul Guyot even has NOS running on a Linux PDA.
