Bankruptcy lawyers Kelsey & Trask, P.C. have provided a free web app for the iPhone that calculates the means test for Chapter 7 bankruptcy purposes. The Means Test Calculator provided uses median family income figures for each state as of March 15, 2009.
It’s a pretty useful web application, and one that I’ve been playing around with. For bankruptcy lawyers who want to calculate the means test without having to fire up their petition preparation software, this could be a handy alternative.
