As a .Mac subscriber, I'm ready for an update. I'm not sure it's going to move to Google though. Apple just spent a lot of money upgrading the Web-based Mail interface and .Mac ties into applications such as iPhoto and iWeb, all of which are based on the .Mac SDK.
