Jan Hvizdak previously developed a WordPress plugin called Cross-Linker. Simple and elegant, it automatically hyperlinked selected words to defined URLs. The hyperlinking process worked in posts and comments, and it was one of my favorites.
Unfortunately, Jan discontinued the development of Cross-Linker once WordPress got to the 2.8.x version. For whatever reason, one of the best WordPress plugins out there died a quick and untimely death.
I took it upon myself to update Cross-Linker to work with WordPress 2.8. And now, in the link below, I offer it to you for your use.
