Well, I did it! My “default” Gainesville, Florida law firm domain (LdLegal.com) is offically using Gmail and Google Calendar for mail and calendaring!
It took a bit of finagling, but it was worth it. All emails to me@mydomain.com are officially delivered in Gmail format!
I’ve been using it for all of 45 minutes and I’m hooked. Haven’t really merged over my contacts yet (Outlook does display contacts with phone numbers and addresses quite well) but I’m not sure Outlook stands a fighting chance if Gmail figures out how to display it any better.
If you know anything about your webhost and you use Cpanel, it’s actually quite easy. In fact, maybe I’ll charge a small fee to help people set it up.
