Earlier this month I was mentioned in an article in one of the areas largest newspapers, the Kansas City Star called, Blogging the Law has many rewards.
The article just shows that blogging is drawing interest from the mainstream media. As I mentioned in the interview, blogging has been good for business. And I do get two to three cases a week from my blogs. I no longer do any yellow page ads. And why would I? Since I started blogging two years ago, I have received more new clients from blogging than I did in seven years of yellow page ads.
Blogging truly does work. If you have questions about blogging and a law firm, post your comments here. Or drop me an email at gdgrifflaw@mac.com. I am always happy to visit about blogging and the benefits it has for a lawyer. Whether a solo, small firm or large firm.
UPDATE: I should have provided a link to the blog that brings me the most business. That would be my family law blog, the Kansas Family & Divorce Lawyer. In my opinion, I do not believe there is any practice area that will not work with a blog. The key is to provide good content and it will get noticed.

I am encouraged that you receive two to three new clients per week via your blogs. Can you comment on the types of practices for which blogs are particularly well-suited for reaching prospective clients? How about practice areas where blogs are of little use? Thanks!
