  • I don't know why WordPress doesn't get more flack for the problem of built up comments and inadequate spam filters. I have blogged on a variety of platforms - slashcode, blogger, Typepad, Lexblog and wordpress based blogs, set up by me and "professionals." I have never had the same problem with comments amassing at any of the other sites as I have had at Wordpress. Don't get me wrong - there's still a lot to love about WP, but I am surprised that it doesn't get more criticism for this weakness.
