Legal Marketing Resolutions?

Legal Marketing Resolutions

The ball drops, and we all make resolutions. They’re grandiose things, these resolutions – whether we write them down or just keep them in our heads, they’re big. Big, I tell you!

You’re going to work out, lose 10 pounds, stop smoking, spend more time with your family and be a better person.

Excellent resolutions, and I hope you keep all of them.

Here’s one resolution you will likely not keep. “I will make more time for marketing my practice.”

When you use the open-ended, “I will make more time,” you’re not making a commitment. It’s a flabby statement, and it doesn’t gain traction.

That, and you can’t “make time.” If you learn how to, let me know – it just ain’t possible.

So here’s what I want you to do this year. Block off one hour of your day each week to learn something new and implement it. Study, read, click a mouse button, whatever.

One hour each week. Not such a huge investment, is it?

Can you commit to that?
