I recently switched and have a _really_ stupid question that I'm hoping someone here can answer —
The ONE thing I miss about Windoze & MS is the keyboard navigation shortcuts in just about any native windows program and it would always work — home took me to the left margin, end to the right …
I can't find how to do this simple thing on my iMac and it's bugging me like crazy. I hit those keys and nothing happens. I prefer not to use the mouse, and to keep my hands on the keyboard for speed. I really miss being able to hit shift and then END or HOME and start highlighting text, then ctrl-X to cut or ctrl-C to copy, ctrl-V to paste.
I've figured out that the little apple logo key works like the ctrl key for those things, but it doesn't seem to work with the home and end keys.

Did you mean to write Michael 'egos' or echos? Mmmmmmm. I'm still learning how to use my MacPro but I'm definitely digging it so far.
