Microsoft Corp. on Thursday confirmed that it’s considering plans to build its own portable music player to rival Apple Computer Inc.’s iPod, which has captured the lion share of the market at the expense of competitors offering devices with Microsoft’s music player.
Big deal. How many millions of these wonderful little machines has Apple sold? And, how many windoze users have actually been smart enough to buy one? A lot I would venture to guess. Lord Gates is behind the eight ball on this one. It will be fun to watch him play catch up. Good luck.
If you really want to do something constructive Mr. Gates, come up with an original idea. Or do you have Steve Jobs on your payroll in your research and development department?
