Hi there - thanks for coming back to visit! While you're here, why not sign up for the Legal Practice Pro Newsletter?
It may come as no shock to any of you, but I really dislike anything connected to Microsoft. Every since I bought my first Mac, the iBook, I used Microsoft Word for Mac on it. Recently, I bought a new MacBook, and I love it. So, in order to move as far away from anything Microsoft, I have been using NeoOffice.
I have to say I am impressed. It will do everything I need it to do and it is in my opinion better than Word. My paralegal uses a windoze machine. And we are exchanging documents today via email. She is using Word and I am using NeoOffice. It is working great and format is remaining the same as we pass them back and forth.
If you are a Mac user and are sick and tired of Word as I am, try it.

I too am using NeoOffice and am just as impressed as you are. I’ve noticed some slight formatting problems cropping up between me and an attorney in the office who insists on using Wordperfect. However, this problem is very rare and only means a slight adjustment to one line of the text at most.
