One statement, “there is a fairly significant technical wall stopping RSS penetrating the mainstream.” He is also suggesting that instead of calling it RSS, we should call it “Feeding.” Perhaps he is right. Maybe the non-geeks and non-savvy net users would better understand if we told them they could “Feed” the stories to their Newsreader. However, the writer goes on to state, “regardless of the terminology, the technology needs to be simplified.”
