I don’t post about products too frequently. And when I do, I post about stuff I use.
This morning a new search engine optimization product hit the market and I bought it in about 5 seconds. Paid full freight, signed up without the free test drive that was offered.
That product? Scribe SEO.
Scribe SEO is a plugin for WordPress that takes the content of your post or page, analyzes it for search engine optimization issues, and spits back a grade to tell you how well optimized it is. More than that, it gives you a report to let you know how you can bring your content closer to 100.
Here’s a screenshot:
Brilliant idea. I got my email announcement at about 11:00am this morning and Scribe SEO was mine by 11:05am.
Why? Because Scribe SEO was developed by Brian Clark, one of the guys behind Thesis. Brian does a ton of good work and is generally an upstanding guy, and I trust something when his name is attached to it.
To use Scribe SEO you must have either Thesis or Headway on your WordPress blog. Why? Because Scribe SEO needs to use some of the custom fields from those frameworks. You should be using one of them anyway – ideally, Headway (this blog runs on Headway).
Go out and spend the money on this product. It’s awesome. Seriously.
Disclosure: The links in this post are affiliate links. If you buy through my links then I get a few bucks for my effort. It doesn’t cost you anything to use my links. And if you don’t want me to make the money and you still want the buy the products, do so with my best wishes. The stuff is that good. Really.

Thank You, Thank You, I've been looking for something like this for a while, I'm on board will have to give it a run. Thanks Jay:) Anything by Brian Clark in the field of words and usage should be an excellent opportunity…
Great post Fellow 3 Triber here Jay I also provided some ideas for Scribe SEO to grow their brand http://www.darrenmonroe.com/wordpress/online-bu…...
Thanks for the link, Darren – good to see you here!
Hmm are you still happy with it? I ran the free trial and was less than impressed with the tool;'s ability to pick my keywords – the ones' that I was already ranking in Google for
I am liking Scribe SEO quite a bit. It would be handy if you could input your keywords and let the plugin do essentially a reverse search, but even in the absence of that I find it to be an excellent resource.
SEO is a WordPress plugin that takes your search engine optimization efforts and adds jet fuel…..ok
I've also tried the trial version of this tool. Not that impressive as far as my experience with it is concerned. But maybe there is something special if you get the paid version.
