There was an article recently in the Small Firm Business titled Solos Profit by Going Paperless. The article outlines some of what Michael D. Day’s law office has been doing to go paperless.

First, the firm uses the paperless concept for faxes. In addition, Day states that the best feature of the paperless office is that all of his files travel with him when he takes his computer out of it docking station. This enables Day to work while he does what we all hate the most, wait around the courthouse for our hearing. He has access to his files and uses SnapperMail to download email on to his PalmOne Treo 600.

Go to the link above and read about one more solo that is paperless.

I will be providing more detail of what I do in my office in the very near future. In fact, I will have some spare time today between hearings and will go to the local coffee shop and post on this.
