STARTING YOUR OWN FIRM . ….

Here is a nice post about my friend Jonathan Stein’s blog, The Practice. If you don’t already have it set in your RSS reader, do so. It is worth it. Not only does Jonathan have some great stuff for law students, he has some great hints and tips for those starting their own firm and those thinking about it.

STARTING YOUR OWN FIRM . ….: “

STARTING YOUR OWN FIRM . . . There’s a new weblog called The Practice that bears this tagline: ‘Helping law students and lawyers learn everything they wanted to know about law practice management, but did not learn in law school.’ It’s a good resource for anyone thinking about starting their own firm. Example: ‘Before you open your own firm: Part 1.’

The Practice is just one of many new ‘solo and small firm blogs,’ as Carolyn Elefant terms them in her recent post, ‘Have We Reached The Solo Practice Tipping Point?’ As Carolyn says, ‘The rise of biglaw mergers hasn’t quelled the growing interest in solo practice; if anything, it’s heightened it.’

Having a online home business is an excellent option for mothers or fathers that stay home with young children. Not only does it allow them to spend more time with their children, but they are earning an income as well. Doing work from home makes it easier to deal with everyday life. There are doctor’s appointments, errands that need to be taken care of, emergencies, etc. http://www.millionairebusinessideas.com
