Hi there - thanks for coming back to visit! While you're here, why not sign up for the Legal Practice Pro Newsletter?
Tech Counsel: Solo on a Mac is a great article over at Law Technology News.
The article is by Ed Siebel who has been practicing from his home now for the last five years. Ed’s reason for a home office is very similar to my own.
“I’ve found that the benefits of staff and an office are largely outweighed by their cost. Electronic research and communication tools make a home office practical, although I generally meet with my clients at their offices or homes.”
Take a look at the article and please post comments here about your own home office. Oh, and by the way, Ed is a Mac using attorney also. So, instead of just listening to me about the benefits of using a Mac in a law office, listen to what Ed has to say.

This is a great article to help explain a good small firm computer setup. Thank you very much for linking to it. I am a third year law student, and I have thought about switching to a Mac. This article provides some good reasons why that is a good choice.
