I did a post a few days ago about this topic: An “Unconference” for Lawyers
This seems to be moving forward to a possible completion and will happen. What I need from you all is this. I need ideas of what you would like to see in topics for a first day of a two day event. Where you would like to see it happen and if there is a time of the year that is better than others. As for where, I would like to keep this as central as possible for ease of travel for most. Speakers you would like to hear, the first day. But, remember this, an unconference is not your normal conference. Go to the post’s link above to see what I mean.
Also, what you would be willing to spend. Speakers and special guest cost money and I can’t pay for this out of my own pocket.
In addition, if this is not approved for CLE, would you still come?
This could be a great event where solos could come together and exchange a huge amount of information, ideas and solutions. I am sure the location for such an event will be like nothing you have experienced before at a “normal” conference. You won’t have to sit on your butt for an hour at a time and listen to some boring CLE instructor. The last one of those I went to, I actually spent a lot of the time checking and answering emails on my Treo.
I have always found my readers to be very savy individuals. Lets put our heads together and come up with some great ideas. I want comments from as many of you as possible. I do have this blog set so I have to approve comments. Too much spam if I don’t. But, if you put a comment to this post, it will be approved.

I think this is a fabulous idea, have you thought about doing a virtual conference? Much more convenient, everyone can attend from their own home, no travel expenses and technology abounds for making this fairly easy to pull off.
Let me know if you would like to bounce some ideas around!
