Lynn informed me today of an Online International Virtual Assistants Convention which is taking place Thursday, May 18 to Saturday, May 20. Since there has been a lot of talk lately about using a virtual assistant for those of us with a home office or a small office firm, I thought I would provide a heads up on this even.
Carrollegal, will be participating in the tradeshow portion of the convention by staffing an online booth. In addition, she will attend several online seminars presented by VA industry leaders covering topics such as podcasting, virtual technology, media relations, and branding. This may be an opportunity to find out more about what a virtual legal assistant can do for those us who have a home office. As many know, I have been using a virtual paralegal for sometime now and it is great. Not only can you get the help you need, but it also saves on overhead since you don’ t have to actually have office space for the assistant. I love it and do not plan to change my support staff anytime soon.
