Micheal Doherty will not give me my Inheritance. He is being a Jerk. He acts like the money is his. There is no reasoning with him. It is all his way or no way. He said he is not satisfied with what I am going to do with the money. It is none of his business what I do with it. I want to go on with my life. He is actually running my life. I am sick of it. I am not a child. I want what belongs to me. He owes me 400,000.00. He will not let me have it. He will not give me my brothers baby pictures. How do you stop a bully?

Excellent post. I totally agree. I keep explaining it to people as "it's all about collaboration." If you don't collaborate with other people, whether it be with a paralegal or a peer or a client...you won't "get" it. Thus, don't stress out if you don't have an invite yet.If you do collaborate & don't have a Wave invite yet, you'll need to find someone with an invite to spare (as an invitee of an invitee I too have zero to give out) OR sign up via the Google Wave sign up page: https://services.google.com/fb/forms/wavesignup/

Awesome post, Jay! I had ignored the original hype and even missed an invite or two because the original discussion was so fuzzy. Who has time to dig into fuzzy??? Your post really helped me see the possibilities. Everybody has a different preferred method of communication. It sounds like Wave lets us all be different and still be "on the same page." That's very exciting!

Depending on how reliably the platform works, it seems like Google has taken a brilliant approach to Web 3.0 innovation by creating something that is simply open to possibility and adaptation. I resonate with your reference to Twitter - it was adaptation and customization that made Twitter huge and useful. Google Wave seems to have taken that to heart and been designed to take advantage of the greatest constant in the development of Web technology - change. Instead of trying to create a different and "better" tool that will either catch on or not, and will be obsolete eventually anyway, Wave looks poised to adapt to any way we want to use it. If it's all it's been buzzed up to be, then it should simply be able to become whatever we decide we need. If Google really can pull that off, that's a huge contribution.Further, the option to combine everything we do through e-mail, Web, SM, etc. together into one medium is a much-needed answer to one of the biggest problems of modern technology: disintegration and too many separate tools to keep track of at once.Good overview of some of the possibilities, Jay. Thanks!

Google sent out 100,000 invitations (by hand) a few weeks ago. Each invitee got 8 to give away to others, and those went out by hand after (presumably) some sort of verification process (no clue what that would be, but it wasn't automatic the way it was with GMail). Those 8 invitees got none to pass along. I wasn't one of the 100,000 original people, but did snag one of the 8 that someone had. I'm hopeful that Google gives me some invitations to give away soon.
