I’m a fan of Zoho Office, an online office suite that includes a word processor, spreadsheet, mail, chat, and more. It’s a pretty amazing system, actually – blows Google out of the water as far as I’m concerned.
The problem with Zoho – and most online application, for that matter – is with offline use. See, people still need access to their data when they aren’t able to get online.
Bummer. Until now, that is. Zoho has just announced a major update to Zoho Writer that gives you the ability to read and edit your Zoho Writer documents offline via Google Gears.
